On Saturday, I was walking out of the Concorde metro station to visit Zara Home. I was so focused on everything I needed to do that day. All I could think about were errands, studying, and the little details that make up your life. Then I looked up to the view above. Incredibly beautiful, enchanting Paris and I almost missed it. It was a great reminder not to get so bogged down in the little things that I fail to notice the world around me. The big picture is that I came to live in this city for moments just like these and not to worry about laundry and homework. I’m looking up and appreciating the beauty that is life.
