  1. Hello! I found your blog through The Everygirl. I’m looking forward to reading more about your Parisian adventure. I’m always inspired by people who take big risks & follow their dreams. Life is too short to let fear keep you from trying new things.

  2. Hi Vanessa. I read your feature on the Everygirl and loved your story so much that I thought I would pop over here and say hello. I am inspired by your courage and am happy to hear that you’re having a great adventure in Paris. You only live once, that’s what they say. Kind of cliché, but so very true. I love what your friend said to you (that you wouldn’t say “I wish I hadn’t lived in Paris, it was too expensive” on your deathbed) and I’m going to start asking myself that question (“Would I regret this while on my deathbed?”) when making big decisions! Best wishes and I can’t wait to read more about your adventures!

    • Thanks, Amanda! It’s funny how something so simple can put it all in perspective. The truth is that I would regret it if I hadn’t taken this chance and I know that. I don’t want to live with regrets so the only choice was to take a risk and go!

  3. Hi Vanessa! I also saw your story on Everygirl and am beyond inspired. I’m in a similar boat as you: I’ve been thinking and dreaming about moving to England for my MBA but have a lot of the same reservations. Luckily language won’t be an issue in my case, but leaving family and friends behind, tuition funding, living expenses, etc…I feel it! But your story has inspired me to really go for it. No regrets!

  4. Hi Vanessa !

Take Care and enjoy every little bit of Paris

  5. Hi Vanessa!
Congrats on your new adventure and I wish you all the best! I found your story to be very inspiring and uplifting. It was a great time to come across this story as I just recently lost my job and have decided to throw myself into my jewelry business to try and make it a sustainable income for myself.
Exciting yet terrifying all at the same time. I applaud your bravery and courage to go out and do what you’ve dreamed about. I’ll be following your blog and look forward to whatever comes next!

    Take care,
    Debra Norris

  6. I found your blog through the Everygirl and I’m so inspired by these stories. I would love to just up and leave, but it’s tough when things are going good. :) Maybe just a vacation should be on the big dream list right now. :)
