In case you’ve been living under a fashion rock somewhere, Jenna Lyons is the super stylish President and Creative Director of J Crew. I love her gutsy style. She’s not afraid to mix patterns, wear the unexpected and to switch it up season after season. Gotta love a girl with a unique style! Which outfit is your favorite?
For those of you who are going out for New Year’s, how about adding some shine? Sparkle just screams ‘party’ and here are a few pieces that do that tastefully. How do you like to celebrate?
My friend Jackie is one of those people who always looks great in an effortless sort of way. She mixes high and low in a sophisticated and classic way. She always looks put-together and her outfit always matches the occasion perfectly – never overdressed or underdressed. Here are few photos of Jackie and her style picks. I hope you find her style and fashion philosophy as inspiring as I do!

What about you? Will you brave the crowds and the madness to get a few good deals on your holiday gifts? In honor of black Friday, here are my blackest of black picks of cool product right now.
J Crew has become one of my favorite stores to shop in. The clothing is just so wearable, fashionable and classic. It’s easy to throw together a few items to create a casual but chic outfit or to find great work apparel. Here’s what I’m loving right now:
As much as I love black, sometimes I want something a bit softer. Shades of cream, gold, camel and white look elegant and feminine. Gold accessories add some oomph and take an outfit from casual to a bit more chic. What do you think? Do you prefer black or a softer neutral palette?
